Kuopio250 Anniversary Year – Call for Proposals
This form is used for proposing events/productions for the Kuopio250 anniversary year programme. The productions may include exhibitions, publications and so on.
The programme content does not need to be fully finalised at this point. Instead, the goal is to gain an insight into the type of content that will be featured during the anniversary year, and to guide operators to apply for funding and collaborate with others planning a similar programme. However, we hope that the submitted events/production plans are as advanced as possible. The level of completeness of the event or production directly impacts the speed of the funding decision. Please note! This form is not intended for applying for funding!
The anniversary year’s programme content will be selected and shaped by using this call for proposals. To have your production considered for the anniversary year programme, please fill in the programme proposal form. Once the working group has accepted the proposal into the anniversary year programme, you can apply for the anniversary year funding. Funding will not be granted for productions that have not fully completed the programme proposal form.
Once the operator has submitted the programme proposal form, we will get in touch and open up a dialogue. If the need arises, we are open to discussing topics such as the programme’s content and the need for financial assistance. Our goal is to reach out to the designated contact person within two weeks of the form being submitted.
The programme proposal form only needs to be filled out once and does not need to be revised or re-submitted if the idea changes along the way. However, you should notify the contact person for the anniversary year project of any changes by email.
We kindly request that submissions for long-term productions be completed as soon as possible, using the designated form: by the end of April 2024. In April, we will begin accepting proposals for events/productions scheduled for the 2025 anniversary year.
Private events are not eligible for submission or funding through the anniversary year programme. The event/activity may have an admission fee or be free of charge, but it must be open for all. At this stage, it is important to note that production grants cannot be used for renting premises, cash prizes, alcohol or compensation for the use of personal premises, or similar.
